Over the years, Campbell Hausfeld has had 3 different gun threads. Sprayers, guns and accessories that were built prior to January, 1995 were equipped with what was called a CH thread. If you are experiencing difficulties using your accessories after replacing a gun valve on a gun of this vintage, you will need a CH-to-F thread adapter, which is part number AL159300SV.

Sprayers, guns and accessories built after January, 1995 but prior to January, 2000 were equipped with what was called an F thread. If the gun thread is smaller than the thread on the accessory you are trying to install, you will need the F to G adapter, which is part number AL158801AV.

Sprayers, guns and accessories built after January, 2000 (the sprayer model numbers will begin with the letters “PS”) are equipped with the G thread. This thread is the industry standard and is compatible with all other spray equipment and accessory manufacturers. If your gun thread is larger than the thread on the accessory you are trying to install, you will need the G to F adapter. This adapter is part number AL158802AV.
