There is a clog somewhere between the high-pressure hose fitting and the tip. To trace the source of the clog:
- Turn the sprayer off and remove the tip. Restart the sprayer and pull the trigger with the gun pointed in a safe direction. If there is still no paint coming from the gun, turn the sprayer off and remove the gun. Restart the sprayer and see if paint comes out of the hose. When you determine where the clog is in the system, clean that item, reassemble and restart the sprayer.
- If the gun filter is clogged, remove the gun filter and replace.
- If the tip is clogged, release the trigger, reverse the tip to the cleaning position, pull the trigger and turn the tip back to the spray position.
- If the hose is clogged, it will have to be replaced.
