I purchased this "Industrial Rated" compressor in March 2018 and have had nothing but problems with it. The thermal switch on the motor would kick off 6-10 times a day. The compressor had a flawed casting that leaked oil everywhere. It burned the drive belt off after re-adjusting it 3 times (once adjusted by a Campbell Hausfeld warranty technician). Now the check valve is leaking massively. C. H. replaced the leaking compressor housing under warranty, which fixed the oil leak. Their technician sent me a higher rated Thermal Switch, which, at this point has fixed the kicking off problem. In the 7 months that I have had this unit, it has only run for 3 months due to these problems. C. H. would do nothing about it burning the belt on the unit, so I (at my expense) replace the pulley and belt with a 2-groove pulley and 2 new belts. I purchased this unit to replace a 15 year old Delta Compressor that is rated nearly 1/2 the rated CFM of the C. H. The Delta performed flawlessly for the 15 years, but was getting to the point where it wouldn't keep up (simply worn out). With the higher rated CFM of the C. H., I expected more, but got less. I am still waiting for C. H. warranty service to fix the faulty check valve. In my opinion, this is an inferior quality compressor.
